This Christmas

It was a Christmas night, I followed with ease
Led by a day star with the brightest release
Traveling from afar, strength began to decrease
So I asked around, "where is  Bethlehem please?"

Through the heat of Africa to a cold breeze
The winter snow almost made me freeze
But I shook, I shivered, my skin began to squeeze
I got to Bethlehem after one more sneeze

Visitors arriving like present day refugees
So we bowed to the new born king on our knees
Afterwards we danced around like Christmas trees
Presenting gifts to Mary and Joseph in group of threes

On white beards, red cap, trousers and sleeves
We had celebrities come around like Keanu Reeves
Hand-in-hand with palm fronds, flowers and leaves
We all came rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves

End HIV/AIDS

Millions of people have been infected
Unborn children have also been affected
As a result of AIDS, feared but not respected
When infected it may take time to be suspected

Razor and sharp objects could be connected
Blood for transfusion unscreened and selected
Unsterilized needle when one is injected
Are ways by which HIV is transferred and collected

Whenever the disease is detected
It kills faster when one is neglected
Stigmatization makes the victim dejected
Such an attitude should be corrected

An HIV free world could be effected
To whom much is given much is expected
For a future that is that is sure and perfected
Abstain, be faithful or get protected
